The Fire

I have always been a self motivated person who is driven to succeed and I am very competitive. I also have a knack for using certain situations or events as more fuel to succeed. I have always been that way as long as I can remember.

So as it pertains to my real estate career I am really no different and because of that I have fire burning right now that is so hot that many can't stay close to me very long because they will be burned. I find myself burning through assistants and staff like a 5 alarm fire.

So allow me to elaborate, I have had a few instances over the past 3 years were things have happened that turned the burning fire into a raging inferno. I won't discuss what those things are but if the people who were a part of those things happen to read this post they will know who they are! Let me just put it this way, the loyalty, love, respect and honor that I showed them was not reciprocated and actually they way things were handled was very hurtful.

Now someone like myself is going to take the hurt they are experiencing and bottle it up and throw it on the fire of desire that burns within and that's exactly what I did!! I am now thinking that maybe I should not have done that because I haven't been able to sleep for about 2 years because all I can think about is making them regret doing me the way they did...because just in case you didn't know the best revenge is SUCCESS!!! So blank & blank, blank & blank & blank blank blank professionals JRG is on the rise and the fire is all consuming!!!

Today's post is a bit of a rant, but I have to get this off my chest. People spend money on some of the dumbest things to me. Rather than spend money on investments, they spend money on cars, clothes and a bunch of other things that has no real value. People have become so materialistic and so focused on looking like they have money rather than doing the things to actually have money. To buy or not that is the question

There has been a movement of late where today's young people have decided against buying and have decided to rent. There are some compelling reasons that support this thought process however buying a home is still a better option then renting. There is one truth that there is no way around and that is the fact that you are literally throwing money away by renting. If you are paying $2000 per month to rent and the house you are renting appreciates 10% over the time that you are renting you get absolutely nothing other than the bundle of rights you are entitled to as a tenant. If you are purchasing that same house and paying $2000 per month you are entitled to the 10% appreciation. Now keep in mind that if you are renting you don't have to worry about taking care of the maintenance and home care that you do when you are the homeowner.
